Meet Luke - thirteen years old and already allergic to standing still.

Hailing from Upper Hutt, Wellington, Luke’s been on two wheels for as long as he can remember. He started out racing motocross before swapping engines for legs and falling hard for mountain biking - a sensible move, says Cyril, “Less fuel, same amount of chaos.”

You’ll usually spot Luke charging around Maidstone DH or Mt Victoria, switching between a Canyon Sender DH when it’s time to go full-send, and a Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Comp when versatility is the name of the game.

Luke’s sights are firmly set on 2026, with plans to race as much as possible and chase top-10 finishes at Secondary School Nationals and North Island Champs. He’s also lining up for his first Crankworx Rotorua, which Cyril describes as “a fine place to test both speed and courage.”
