Zefal Bike Taxi Adapter The Zefal Bike Taxi Adapter is a purpose-built accessory that allows the Bike Taxi tow rope to be safely and securely used on bikes fitted with a quill stem or smooth stem with no exposed bolts. It provides a simple solution for towing situations where a standard stem-mounted attachment is not possible.
Designed for fast, tool-free installation, the adapter fits directly onto the handlebars of the bike being towed and can be attached or removed in seconds. Once fitted, the Bike Taxi loop connects to the adapter, allowing the towed rider to disengage instantly whenever needed. The adapter remains in place on the handlebars while the tow rope buckle retracts automatically, ensuring a clean, safe and hassle-free setup.

It must be unused, in its original packaging, and come with proof of purchase.
No battle scars, no “I wore it once” excuses - we need it in top shape!

If accepted, we’ll send you information on how to return.
Once we receive and approve your return, store credits are processed within 2 business days - quick as a downhill sprint!
Hit a snag? Received the wrong order? Let us know ASAP and we’ll fix it faster than Cyril can bomb a hill. Damaged / Faulty gear is eligabile for refunds.
